Step 1: Color Selection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For most people, this is the hardest step. But we can make it easy by consulting with you should you need that help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: Protect the Area<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first thing we do is cover the furniture and floors with a new, clean piece of protective plastic sheeting. We also protect your floors with drop cloths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Prepare Surfaces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We repair minor holes and cracks in ceilings and walls, fill nail holes, and fix caulking as needed. The goal is to create a smooth, clean canvas necessary for a beautiful finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: Apply New Paint with Great Care<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After any areas repaired in the previous step are primed, we apply premium quality paints in either a flat, matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, or high-gloss, as detailed in our production plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5: Paint Area Clean Up<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there anything worse than people who don\u2019t clean up after themselves? I mean really! We are profoundly serious about getting back to the original state. Our paint crews remove all the painting materials and coverings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 6: Walk-Through Inspection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After our own inspection, we will walk through your space with you, giving you the opportunity to review our work and provide immediate feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can I expect on painting day?<\/summary>\n

  • You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your project along with your Service Project Manager\u2019s contact information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • We will arrive between 8:00 & 8:30 a.m. with everything we need. After a short walk-through to confirm the project details, we will begin the project immediately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Most exterior projects can be done in 1-3 days.  Interior projects vary considerably, but most rooms (4) walls can be done in a day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
    What’s include in your price?<\/summary>\n
      \n
    • A qualified estimate based on a measure and\/or prints and finish option<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Paint, labor, tools, and misc. supplies. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Outlet cover and vent removal\/reinstallation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Site walk & measure (if necessary)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Up to 2 hours of color and finish consult time<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Upon approval, your project is added to the schedule, and arrangements are made for a product drop-off, start, and finish date<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • All minor drywall repairs are included up to a quarter in diameter. If larger repairs are needed, we will let you know the cost at that time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
      Who will help me pick a paint color and who buys the paint or stain?<\/summary>\n

      We can do that, however, the final decision is yours.  We recommend Hirshfield’s or Sherwin Williams as those are our preferred vendors. You pick your color and sheen, and we will figure out quantities and pick it up.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

      What about color consultation?<\/summary>\n

      We do provide for an in-home color consultation or at our finishing facility.  Up to 2 hours is included with every estimate. There is an extra charge of $125 per hour for any additional time needed beyond that.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

      Can you do paint\/stain matches?<\/summary>\n

      Yes! We do custom paint and stain matches daily. However, matches are very subjective and are never precisely exact.  It is as much an art as a science.  We use every resource available, including our decades of experience to come as close as we can within your budget.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

      How do I schedule a consultation?<\/summary>\n

      How do I prepare my room(s)?<\/summary>\n
        \n
      • All furniture must be moved out of the room or to the center of the room to allow for 4\u2019 of working space on all walls. Painters are do not move furniture unless otherwise arranged. Projects that do not meet the requirements above are subject to a rescheduling fee. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Homeowners must remove all hanging items such as pictures, posters, string lighting, curtains, and decorations. If nail or wall fasteners are to be left in place for reuse, leave them on the wall. All holes to be filled must have nails removed or be labeled for our team to remove during the project.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • If there is existing paint on ceilings or trim, we will straighten the cut-in lines to hide as much as possible, we will not remove the previous paint. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Homeowners must make sure pets are secured.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
        Can I change my mind on the color I’ve chosen?<\/summary>\n

        Yes. You mean you haven\u2019t already?  Just kidding.  Deciding to get married and choosing paint colors are about equal in difficulty. However, at some point, you have to pull the trigger.  So, we just need to finalize your color selection 72 hours before your paint project is set to begin.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

        Can I reschedule a start date?<\/summary>\n

        Of course. There are 3 different ways.  Call, text, or email your assigned field manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Please note, that a rescheduling fee of $99 will be charged if the project is rescheduled within a 72-hour window of the project start date. The rescheduling fee must be paid prior to scheduling the project.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

        What do I do with the leftover paints?<\/summary>\n

        We suggest you always keep some paint stored in a consistent (above freezing) climate for touch-ups.  However, you can also turn in leftover paint cans at no cost to many participating paint stores. It\u2019s all detailed here in our blog on dealing with old paint. <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

        • Rescheduling Fee: A rescheduling fee of $99 will be charged if the project is rescheduled within a 72-hour window of the project start date. The rescheduling fee must be paid prior to committing to a new scheduled date for the project.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Cancellation Fee: Free cancellation 72 hours in advance of the project start date. A cancellation fee of 10% of the contract price will be held from the initial deposit upon cancellation within the 72-hour window of the project start date. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Shop Terms: Payment upon pickup or delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n
          What is provided in the service to cabinet makers?<\/summary>\n
